A complete stay in Morbihan for cyclists who wants to discover blue horizons and coastal remarkable sites as well as hidden treasures and the quietness of forests, rivers and lakes of the so close inner Morbihan

Day 1: AURAY.
Reception at the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : GULF OF MORBIHAN AND THE ISLAND "ÎLE AUX MOINES" : 38 Km.
Breakfast. No major difficulty today, on this journey to discover maritime landscapes, the exceptional fauna and flora of the Gulf of Morbihan. Take the boat to the Île aux Moines and discover the island by bike : narrow streets of the village, beaches, forests and wild moors, so many exceptional places to have a special view on the Gulf.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : CARNAC AND THE RIA OF ETEL : 37 or 53 Km.
Breakfast. Take the roads of a quiet countryside where the numerous dolmens are a sign of your close arrival to Carnac. There, you will discover the mysterious alignments of standing stones.
Your route will then continue this afternoon to the Ria d'Etel (long option), one the most authentic and protected sites of the Morbihan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : CITIES OF CHARACTER OF LIZIO AND JOSSELIN : 65 km

Breakfast. Today you will leave the coast for the quietness and the green fields of the inner Morbihan. A gently hilly stretch without any major difficulty. Lots of occasions to stop and enjoy the natural and architectural heritage of the region like the city of character of Lizio. Arrival in the late afternoon in the medieval city of Josselin where you will be able to visit the emblematic castle of the dukes of Rohan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : NANTES BREST CANAL ant PONTIVY (NAPOLEN CITY) CASTLE : 50 Km.
Breakfast. Follow the beautiful path along the Nantes-Brest canal (no cars !) to reach Pontivy, Napoleon city, and its castle. Visit the castle ans Napoleonian quarters. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 6 : VALLEY OF THE RIVER BLAVET: 75 Km (of which 40 km of flat stretch along the river Blavet !).
Breakfast. From Pontivy, you start your way back to the south coast and the Gulf of Morbihan following the river Blavet on a flat towpath, through wild and tortuous valleys in the forests. Arrival in Auray. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : AURAY.
Breakfast. Last small stretch to go and discover the basilica in Saint Anne d’Auray and its surroundings. Return to the hotel. End of our services.
