Day
1 : ANNECY.
Arrival in the early afternoon at the hotel. We suggest a little stroll
on feet in the heart of Annecy to get your legs and stomach ready for
the week... This lakeside city, full of Art and History will reveal its
numerous facets, between lake, canals and ramparts. Dinner and night at
the hotel.
Day
2 : TOUR OF THE LKE OF ANNECY.
Option 1 : Greenway along the lake: 33 Km
Option 2: Tour of the lake : 41 Km
42 km at the water's edge. To stroll between lake and mountains, it's
the unique experience offered by this route, heaven for cyclists. On the
east side, you will follow a little road along the lake. The west side
is made of a greenway without any cars during 25 km. Dinner and night
at the hotel.

3 : ANNECY - CLERMONT.
Option 1 : 35 Km
From Annecy to Eloise, a lovely stretch on the quiet roads of the countryside
of the "Usses". Nature, history and patrimony for an active
exploring day. Dinner and night in Clermont.
Day
4 : THE BANKS OF THE HAUT RHÔNE AND THE SHORE OF THE BOURGET'S LAKE
Option 1 : 50 km (mainly along the river Rhône,
on a plain stretch).
On
small roads and quiet pathes, your journey will lead you along vineyards
and banks of the river Haut Rhône to the picturesque village of
Chanaz, at the end of the canal of Savière.
In the afternoon, you will pass through a reed area at the north tip of
the lake of Bourget (exceptional fauna : ducks, coots, grebes and herons...).
Continue then along the east shore to the charming thermal city of Aix
les Bains. Dinner
and night at the hotel.

Day
5 : AIX LES BAINS.
Option 1 : Resting day.
Option 2 : Chambery : 20 Km
You
can choose between two options today : farniente on the shores of the
widest natural lake in France for a deserved resting day. Or a little
stroll on the cycle stroll, between lake and mountain to discover the
historical center of Chambéry, city of Art and History, and the
castle of the dukes of Savoie.
Day
6 : LE COUNTRY OF ALBANAIS.
Option
1 : Stretch of la Crusille, from d'Aix les Bains to Annecy : 49 Km
On
your way back to Annecy, you
will ride across the flat open country of Albanais, at the gates of the
regional natural park des Bauges . All along this stretch, you will follow
the massif du Semnoz, wholy wooden and protected, and reach Annecy on
shortcuts, really enjoyable roads on bikes.
Day
7: ANNECY.
Have
a lie in, go to the beach or go shopping, the choice is yours to enjoy
the last morning of your stay. Please leave the room before noon.
