BIKE
 MORBIHAN GULF, CARNAC AND ETEL RIA

 

Day 1 : CARNAC.
Van transfer from the Auray train station to the hotel : 15mn.
Carnac loop : 25 km (15 miles)

After meeting at the Auray train station, we shuttle to our first hotel in the heart of the picturesque Port of Saint Goustan. Overview of your stay . After your leader fit you to your bike and conduct a brief demonstration of bicycling techniques and safety, you will be ready to set out on your first ride to Carnac and its mysterious lines af standing stone, UNESCO World Heritage. (D)

Day 2 : MORBIHAN GULF AND THE "ILE AUX MOINES".
Option 1 – Auray~Ile aux Moines~Auray : 35 Km (22 miles)
Option 2 –Auray~ Ile aux Moines~Saint Anne d'Auray~Auray : 55 km (35 miles)

After a delicious breakfast, you hop on your bike and make your way toward the Morbihan Gulf and Port Blanc where you will take a boat to the "Île aux Moines" (the monks Island). Discover by bike the little picturesque streets, forest, beach, moor and majestic views over the gulf. On your way back to the hotel, you may choose to pedal to the basilica of Saint Anne d'Auray or go straight back to the hotel to relax. (B, D)

Day 3 : RIA D'ETEL .
Option 1 – Ria d'Etel loop : 30 Km (19 miles)

This morning you are more than welcome to sleep in and relax or, if you are not quite ready to bid farewell to your bike, feel free to enjoy a short ride to the majestic banks of the Etel Ria. Transfer to the Auray train station. (B)
