Day
1 : GUERLEDAN LAKE ~MUR DE BRETAGNE .
Free van transfer from the Auray train station to the hotel : 1h00.
Option 1 : St Aignan Village : 24 Km (15 miles)
Option 2 : Anse de Sordan : 32.2Km (20 miles)
After meeting at the Auray train station, we shuttle north to our first
hotel. Overview of your stay . After your leader fit you to your bike
and conduct a brief demonstration of bicycling techniques and safety,
you will be ready to set out on your first ride to the St Aignan village.
At the beautiful "Anse de Sordan" you will have the opportunity
to swim ! (D)
Day 2
: QUENECAN FOREST.
Option 1 - Quenecan Forest ~Pontivy : 48 km (30 miles)
Option 2 - Gorges de Daoulas : 55 km (34 miles)
Your morning trip will take you throughout the Gorges of Daoulas, to visit
Bon Repos Abbey and the Salles Smithy. Pic nic lunch. In the afternoon,
you will ride along the river Blavet, strewed with chapels representing
the diversity of Breton religious architecture. (B, L, D)

Day 3
: RIVER BLAVET VALLEY.
Option 1 – Pontivy~ St Degan ~Auray : 75 Km (47 miles mostly flat
along river path)
Starting in Pontivy you will continue your way towards the south coast
and the Gulf of morbihan following the Blavet. At the St Degan village,
19th century country life and traditions are celebrated. Lunch in a little
café by the river. Diner on your own in one of the many restaurants
of the picturesque Port Saint Goustan and overnight at the hotel. (B,

Day 4
: MORBIHAN GULF.
Option 1 – Ile aux Moines : 38.1 Km (24 miles)
After a delicious breakfast, you hop on your bike and make your way toward
the Morbihan Gulf and Port Blanc where you will take a boat to the "Île
aux Moines" (the monks Island). Discover by bike the little picturesque
streets, forest, beach, moor and majestic views over the gulf. Lunch on
your own. Diner and overnight in Saint Goustan. (B,

Day 5 : CARNAC AND THE ETEL RIA.
Option 1 – Carnac~Ria d'Etel : 52.4 Km (32 miles)
Option 2 – Carnac : 36.2 km (22 miles)
En route this morning, many dolmens and other megaliths emerging from
the quiet countryside are announcing your arrival to Carnac, registered
to the UNESCO World Heritage. Visit its world famous mysterious stones
alignments. In the afternoon, you may choose to pedal to the wonderful
Ria of Etel or go straight back to the hotel to relax . (B, L, D)
Day 6
: AURAY.
Auray loop: 20 Km (12 miles)
This morning you are more than welcome
to sleep in and relax or, if you are not quite ready to bid farewell to
your bike, feel free to enjoy a short ride through the surrounding countryside
of Auray. Tansfer to the Auray train station. (B)
